We have bedroom carpet only and a few rugs. And a dog so I usually get those professionally cleaned. Was not after a carpet cleaner. Working up the energy to return it. Aaahhhhhh

It’s really a minor whinge in the scheme of things, but in the ancient tradition of dumping this stuff out of my brain online, here i am. Therapeutic

Carpet occasionally (not much carpet) but wanted it for freshening the mattresses (blasting mites). Just went back over some of the articles i read to confirm my selection. One of them from this year in a homes magazine was titled “best STEAM cleaners in Australia to give your furniture a refresh”

Spent the morning researching steam cleaners. Checked reviews etc. Went & bought one. Asked the salesman, this is steam yeah? Yes.
Guess what pals, it’s not steam.
Bed & carpet now wet.
Another nail in the coffin of google search, internet reviews, & doing your own “research”. Oh, & salespeople.

I’m sitting on a huge store of cd’s, dvd’s & books.
It was always a scam. I’ve been derided for my old media ways, but i paid a lot of money for those things and i still enjoy them. It’s outrageous that they continue to find ways to get an ongoing subscription out of you.

We just use them. We don’t even ask.
