He’s towering over you now, hands reaching into the space between you; even in the darkened room, you can see them trembling. A barely-restrained claw ghosts your cheek, sliding down the soft skin of your neck before settling against your pulse.

Moon’s metallic tongue runs along the edges of his sharp teeth before he speaks, raspy voice deepening into a low growl that reverberates through your skull.

“You know what kind of punishment naughty things like you get, don’t you?"

“What happens to rulebreakers? ” Moon interrupts. He takes one jingling step towards you, and every muscle you’d just spent time stretching tenses up again. You drop your leg; your toes dig uselessly into the padded floor.

It could be that you push your chest out, or groan a little, or maybe how you absentmindedly lick your lips - whatever it is, there’s a shift in his demeanor, driven by whatever ideas that virus-shaped desire is whispering in his head.

Moon carefully watches you move, no doubt thinking about how thin your clothing is - or about the soft warmth of your skin underneath.

“You think I would cheat like that? ” His massive hand splays across his chest, and you notice his claws are already beginning to peek out from the tips of his fingers. “I’m not some sort of…rulebreaker, you know.”

You switch legs to stretch your other quad.

You pull your ankle up towards the back of your thigh, balancing on the other leg as you stretch. “As long as you don’t skip a few in between,” you reply, and Moon’s faceplate ticks sideways before spinning upright again. He lets out a high, airy giggle.

“What should I count to? ” Moon asks, excitement already apparent in his voice. His optics glow a hungry red in the darkened daycare, bathing you in drifting light as he shifts his weight from foot to foot. “Is a hundred fair?"

For that exact reason, you were wearing leggings and a basic t-shirt that held zero sentimental value, with absolutely nothing underneath - after all, bras were expensive, and underwear would just get in the way.

If anything, that jingling noise would give you the tiniest heads-up that your clothes were about to be shredded into ribbons.

He would also let the bells on his wrists and slippers ring freely, though you weren’t sure what advantage that conferred - it’s not like you could outrun him for more than a few seconds.

He’d turn off his night vision and thermal sensors, and he’d purposefully deactivate his optics and audio receptors while you were finding your hiding spot.

You press the ball of your foot against a padded support beam, stretching your calf muscle as he explains the rules (of course there are rules).
