Important point by @evgenii-protasov.bsky.social ! Same applies for the recent taxonomic changes in the archaeal domain of life.

Same in the archaeal taxonomy. The recent re-naming of phyla etc lead to a high level of confusion (do not ever have „bacteria“ in the name of an archaeon!!!). It’s a nightmare right now.
