Kaizo Colosseum is BACK!

Fundraising for Wings for Life this September 12-14.

The Colosseum charity events are going to be run independently in the future, rather than by Direct Relief (who was the main beneficiary).

We're excited to keep doing good things in the world, with a variety of charities!

Direct Relief is deeply grateful to the creator community that helped build the Colosseum series into something meaningful including its organizers, participants, and donors. Your creativity, energy, and commitment have driven real-world humanitarian impact and helped expand what's possible through digital fundraising. As the landscape continues to evolve, Direct Relief regularly evaluates how to best support this kind of work moving forward. As part of that process, the organization is transitioning the Colosseum brand and event series to Brooke and MC, the longtime creators and collaborators behind the initiative. The series will continue under their leadership and operate independently of Direct Relief, open to supporting a wide range of causes. The upcoming Kaizo Colosseum event will proceed as planned, and future updates will be provided via the ColosseumLive social media channels. This decision was made with deep respect for the event series and the people behind it. Rather than sunset the project, the transition preserves its momentum and creative identity while allowing it to grow beyond a single organizational affiliation. Direct Relief remains committed to collaborating with creators in new formats and is actively exploring future opportunities to support humanitarian work across the digital space. While Colosseum's next chapter will unfold independently, the spirit of partnership and community that powers it will remain a cornerstone of Direct Relief's approach.
