Hi Bluesky 👋
Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP
It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history
I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Today I will be reintroducing my bill that aims to address residential school denialism.
We must uphold the dignity and safety of survivors, families and communities.
👆the world doesn’t begin & end with the US. What’s happened there has happened many times, not unique. And we will all survive it and go on. Mary is 100% right here - pay less attention to the US and more to the rest of the world.

We must move on and perhaps, in time, the USA will come.
Destroying them. One industry at a time!

A black-and-white photograph of a group of people protesting in front of a grand building with a large dome and columns, likely a government or legislative structure. The protesters are holding signs with messages such as "ALTERNATE PLANS IGNORED," "PLAN MUST SATISFY ALL," "SPEND MEDICARE NOW," and "DEMOCRACY IS THREATENED." The scene includes cars and a flag atop the building, with a partly cloudy sky in the background.
In November 1961, the Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Bill was given Royal Assent and the province began to implement universal healthcare.
But in May 1962, 90% of the province's doctors went on strike.

Graph comparing health care costs of different countries showing US is more expensive.
I have seen several cost comparisons that basically show a similar story as the beliw from different sources. Also not mentioned is the number of bankruptcies for medical reasons in the US. I think in general wages are also better here? (? because I don't know for sure)
