It is worth noting that the differences are smaller when using sentimental scores versus numerical scores, but still present. These difference are not uniform across disciplines.

Our paper shows biases against women & minoritized groups in teaching evals extend to sentiment scores of comments. Language (humor, looks, accent) explains ~30% of score variation & cuts observed bias between white men & others (incl. women) by about half.

I am not even really sure what this means in this case. Like is the President found in contempt, the secretary of state, the cabinet? Do they all pay a fine or held in jail for x number of days? Or does it mean nothing?

The 100th Congress was the productive on a percentage basis and the 95th Congress brought the most number of new laws.
