All I'm saying is that Ed feeling like a burden when he's pregnant because he can't help as much around the house, and Stede making sure to remind him that he's doing the most by just existing right now, and giving him a spa night almost every night

Doing art stuff in a new medium is such a good reset for the brain, like I haven't done anything really physical in a long time, and painting in watercolors this weekend has been so healing. I'm def gonna do it more

These things are usually wrong, right? Yeah, Ed's heard that before, “false positives”. He’s heard that all the time on TV. This'll be his third test, the last two came out positive, but they were also the cheap dollar store shit that he just grabbed on his way back from work. This one has a little screen, came wrapped in secure plastic wrap, and was significantly more expensive than the other two. Fast and Accurate Results, it reads on the front of the box, Know you're pregnant in less than 5 minutes. They make it seem so fast, five minutes has never taken this long before in Ed's life. He wants this so bad, always has. No one has stacked up enough for him to want to bring a life into the world, no one… until Stede came along. An already devoted father two times over, and not just that, but he's just about the best guy Ed's ever met. He's kind, sweet, hilarious, a bit bitchy (in a good way), he treats Ed like he's a fucking princess, and Jesus Christ the man is hot as hell. Their kid would also be hot, their genes together? This baby could model right out the womb, Ed knows it for sure. They've only recently gotten married, and by Ed's calculations, this could be a nice honeymoon present, courtesy of their trip to the Maldives.
