New from the lab! 🚨 Muscle adaptations from retraining 🏋🏻 after disuse 🩼 are such a cool and understudied topic.
We hope this study sheds some light on it—check it out! 👇🏻

We (Prof. Narici's Lab, University of Padova) are starting a new collaboration with several ICU units in Italy to start looking into that. At the moment we are planning a pilot study based on circulating biomarkers and muscle ultrasound, but would be happy to expand the work on that in the future
