So it would seem that the development of a sterilizing vaccine against a coronavirus is a tough nut to crack, and not necessarily the result of some inherent shortcoming in a particular type of vaccine technology.

He seems to completely ignore the fact, however, that both earlier vaccines by J&J (viral vector), and more recent vaccines by Novavax (protein subunit) were also failures in this regard. Unless I missed something, I haven't heard calls for the cancellation of these types of vaccine technology....

RFK Jr. claims that the mRNA covid vaccines were a failure and the technology should therefore be abandoned. He seems to be basing this conclusion entirely upon the fact that these vaccines were non-sterilizing, and therefore did not prevent infection/transmission.
