My right hand against my keyboard. I am wearing three rings: one silver with a green-blue gem; one silver with three large gems (red, silver/white, and dark royal blue); and one golden ring with a large red gem in the center and smaller yellow and orange gems creating a firey pattern.

My left hand over my keyboard (which is a light pastel pink). My wedding finger has a silver and light blue gem, the middle has a silver ring with a purple heart-shaped gem with smaller purple circular gems decorating the band, and my index finger has a set of purple circular gems going from smallest to largest on the band. All of the rings in this photo and the last came from bath bombs.

The beginning stages of a scroll for the Society for Creative Anachronism. This is essentially a "certificate" in the hobby which is given out to folks who have achieved a certain level of skill, whether it's service, arts and sciences, martial prowess, or a handful of other things. The paper (Pergamenata paper) is taped down with artist tape to prevent any curling when I apply ink wash. I have a beveled ruler set diagonally at the upper left corner of the piece, and some colorful mechanical pencils on the upper right. I've sketched a blanket at the top (it has significance with the recipient) as well as some spider webs (same). The middle is very loosely sketched and its contents will be revealed in time.

I missed some days of #24daysoftea / #24daysofwhittardtea. I've tried Christmas Tea (6/10), Piccadilly Blend (9/10), English Rose (4/10), Lemon & Ginger (5/10), Ceylon (3/10) and Masala Chai (9/10). I might have repeated some and definitely forgot some. Shrug!

I love Canada. I got to visit when I was 18 and fell in love with Vancouver and its people. I hope Canadians remember that not all of us in America are happy about the election results. I would live in Canada in a heartbeat if I could.
