It’s Career Day I’m probably going to die today 😂 I visited like 6 or 7 classes. I have no idea at this point. And I offered to do a few stories with kids cos I still have time. I certainly will have no voice when I am done 😂 Halp.

I think I’ve found a way to be more obnoxiously Jewish. I have a magan David that was a key chain but one of the links broke and it came off my keys. It’s enormous. I’m going to see what I have in my jewelry kit and turn it into a pendant necklace.

The Hitler songs, antisemitic and racist speech has continued on the police scanner since Monday. They’re trying to stop it, but I’m not sure how you stop an analog signal. But we don’t have an antisemitism or racism problem in #Pittsburgh.

The cats have decided that loudly chewing plastic 20 minutes before the alarm goes off is very, very cool. They are wrong.

I’ve moved to “every other day” for staying informed and keeping others informed. I only watch the news, look at real-world stuff online and read reposts every other day. I don’t feel less informed. But I do have some respite.

I was feeling very bitchy today after the Purim antisemitism on the police scanner thing in #Pittsburgh so I wore my most obnoxiously Jewish jewelry and was generally like “come at me, bro” about it.

Was wondering why there were 3 cops at the synagogue when I left. Looks like it was tied to the antisemitic and threatening messages over the police scanner that started Monday night and carried on all day Tuesday. Always freakin’ something. Can’t even have a holiday in peace. #Pittsburgh

My cats are lovable little menaces. They’ve spent all day in the living room with us, getting up to mischief. I love them. They’re so sweet.

Was so exhausted from running around, doing laundry, getting my own medical tests, springing husband from the hospital, community dinner, shpiel, Megillah reading and long drive home, I accidentally went to bed with full stage-level makeup on. Hopefully my pillowcase can be saved 😂

At the synagogue last night there were, I believe, four Purim shpiels going on at once. Four congregations meet in our building, including Tree of Life until their rebuild is complete. The best kind of chaos!
