Something to keep in mind the next time the city tries to repurpose parking and drivers complain that every last car is necessary at all times. The storm was two weeks ago.

Lyft raised @citibikenyc.bsky.social prices.
It is choosing to hoard that cash instead of digging out stations, like it is contractually obligated to do.

If people can leave them sitting in a row like this covered in show for over a week, they don’t need them and are wasting their money and should get rid of them.

Then it snows and the bike lane doesn’t get plowed.

Will the good people of New York have to buy insurance if they ride their e-bike across the George Washington or Goethals bridges?
Who would sell them such a policy?

This weekend, the Oonee team gained access to the future home of NYC’s first Dutch-style secure bike parking hub. The space will support up to 100 bikes with secure parking, charging, and basic repairs, located above the 25th St (R) station in Sunset Park.
