Certainly! But I'm not imagining a researcher of much caliber. Just a hobbyist, getting in way, way over their head, in more ways than one. Dragon the size of a small town probably isn't the best starter project but gotta begin somewhere

Could probably go ahead and read them once they've been gulped down. The preliminary ones, at least - probably would be hard to keep them dry in a dragon's guts, realistically

Willing isn't usually my go-to, but I can see it being a nice way to spend a day. Little impromptu study of a very big beast

It'd be neat to get the chance to get that in-depth. Vore tends to be sort of pred-lead (at least with the scenarios I engage with) so the premise of actually getting to look around without immediately being swept up and messed with is kind of appealing.

One of my favorite size differences. The thought of being able to clamber around on or even fit between something's teeth is really fun, and I imagine they'd have a super interesting texture at that size - not to mention the pred can still feel and interact with you once they decide it's snack time
