Pretty crazy to think I was away for two whole weeks.

Did a little more work on Twilight's evolution from crowning to growing into the next Equestrian ruler. Upon the advice of @mintyroot.bsky.social, I tried a more stylized, rounded mane style before her powers grow to the point where she just has to let it flow freely.

Heading back to Montreal tonight. The last week has been a lot tbh.
When I get back home I'll start syncing up the updates to my current pony project to the main database. Got some animation done, but I haven't been able to add it to the full project yet.

Personally I feel like Butterscotch just makes more sense with longer hair. It contrasts well with Rainbow Blitz and seems to fit the feminine color palette.

My best friend and my mom were exhausted after three panels at Comiccon.
Not sure how they'd survive pony cons.

So with the injury I ended up not going outside for a whole week. It hasn't been great for my mental health so I think I'll remedy it tomorrow.
I did end up playing a bunch of FFVII Rebirth tho. I barely play video games so that was a change.

Due to the long processing time, I often preview my animation comps at 540p so I know how they look in motion, and I can then tweak effects to my liking. I can then do the final render at 4K by changing a setting, but the 4K version is still the same animation. You can't do that with generative AI.

$5 for 10 seconds of video may sound cheap, but let's not forget the amount of times people will generate the same clip until they are satisfied.
And that's just 720p clips. Upscaling 720p to 1080p or 4K can be done, but it'll look like shit on a big screen.

So my back is finally no longer hurting like hell, time to actually animate some ponies.
