I've only seen a few examples of flexible connections, mostly on US HO stock where the design of the connection itself allows miniaturisation of the springing mechanism. The tradition in the UK is to make a concertina from folded card.

It's not really necessary when the mk3s have close coupling mechanisms.

There aren't many routes remaining where passenger trains use ferries. This is the Sicily to Milan night train aboard the ferry Messina yesterday.

Yes, Grainge & Hodder. I'm actually planning to ditch it in favour of a conventional fan of turnouts for hands off running.

It's designed so it can be modular, though currently it's just one layout. Picture is the full size at present, but I've got baseboards on order to extend the length by 900mm.

Yeah, this month has seen me place orders which will double my UK TT traction fleet! There's now enough momentum for me to sell my British N.

80% of the time actively working... I think 80% of my overall modelling time is waiting for things to dry or cure!

A 3D print, most of its form obscured by supports. Only a gate and some pipes are at all obvious as to their design.

I find it has a better hold on decoders than Next18, and I like the ability to sub in a smaller decoder if all the function pins aren't used by the loco.
