Following the hearing, the board will meet for budget deliberations on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m., if necessary. Please note that public testimony will not be taken during deliberations.

The last chance to share your feedback on the 2026 Dane County Budget is approaching! The Dane County Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. to receive input on the Personnel and Finance Committee’s final budget recommendations before the board begins deliberations.

We’re approaching a key stage in the Dane County budget process – and your voice matters!

The Personnel and Finance Committee (P&F) will take up final budget recommendations before sending them to the full county board.
