This is a good overview of the forces of enshittification in the US.
Yet I would reflect that even in non insurer based systems we see similar outcomes (look at the state of the NHS in the UK right now) even though there's a different pathway to get there; in the NHS it's chronic underinvestment
This has just added new orders of magnitude to the old addage. From now on I'll be saying 'its like trying to find DNA in landfill'
