After taking an elbow from Jayden Stockley the in-demand left-back needed five minutes of treatment on the pitch as blood poured out of his mouth. He was then rushed to hospital to get it fixed up the best he could. But when the Scottish Cup was lifted, as the Hoops were crowned invincibles and treble winners, there Tierney was up on the podium. He pumped his fist towards the Celtic fans and hammered his hand against the badge on the jersey he was still wearing.

Kieran Tierney is not what he was, but who among us is? I am more glad to see him playing and scoring for Celtic than a rational, grown adult should be. KT and a bag of cans, that's all I need.
