Not pictured but I also read a lot of fanfic this month because ao3 has been calling my name and I will never add them to my storygraph even if some assholes log them despite authors asking them not to 😤

Upon re-reading I like this one more than I remember. Is it the most fantastic and do I get pissed beyond belief at Benedict for asking The Question™️? For certain but it’s better book one and for sure book eight.

Maybe this is because I am demi/on the ace spectrum but imagine being obsessed with someone you talked to for only an hour and a half while they were masked for YEARS with no other contact or idea of who they are because I certainly cannot

I THINK the color wheel is:

pink
red
orange
yellow

Because I think purple flows into pink and then red

you can always have it be the end of orange and start of yellow 🙂‍↕️

The Bridgerton books are in fact pure fantasy and this one may be the most fantastical of them all.

The Whistledown quips are top tier in this one.

nope! I did not find the magic hard to follow. now the details of the time loop… there I got lost a few times 🙃

mine are all just up in the “inactive tabs section” which I periodically go through because I inevitably have like 3 different tabs of the same fic open and repeat for multiple fics 😅 I rarely close tabs

potentially the biggest lie I was ever taught in school was that the us government has a system of checks and balances 😃

I think you are really going to like it!! And it’s fantasy but not magic heavy, the time loop is really the only in your face magic. Otherwise it honestly just feels like an alternate version of our world.

I tried bookmarking but was so inconsistent with it that I just gave up. My innumerable tabs is a much better system for me 😅

I think about them fighting over blueberry scones on the regular.

I also will not be answering that last question because I already know 😇

also, Remain Nameless is so beefy and I just re-read that this month but on my kindle and I am shocked how quickly I burned through that now 😅

well for me it’s all of them. I am not going to talk about all the ao3 tabs I have open on my phone right now…

THE WHOLE THING

it’s written like someone is telling you a story while you both live it. and it does make total sense for the plot of this book actually.

The way that things are slowly revealed upon each time loop is masterful. And I loved the way that gender was played with.

I honestly feel like this could be a 5 star read upon re-reading but I was lost a few times upon first go around.

I’ve sat with it and I’m going with 4.5⭐️

The 2nd person POV threw me and made it hard to connect with the characters at times. But still my heart broke over and over for Una and Owen. It’s hard to put into words without spoiling anything.

I haven’t watched the latest season yet but I definitely like the changes they made to him in the first few seasons of the show.

Here is the thing, Cinderella stories never cease to make me rage and is why I don’t seek them out but I am dedicated to my re-read of this series, even the ones I don’t like.
