Oh my god I just noticed Naniwa MVs on YouTube even have official English subtitles!? In that case, I have to watch them all with the subtitles on and enjoy a JP-and-EN-lyrics-comparing-time.

05.02.2026 13:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Totally!! Now Iโm watching it again after a long time and Iโm impressed by how good it is.
Btw I watched the bts of the MV once, and those were really good and cute too. In the background of each memberโs introduction, other members are working hard, like quickly putting up the speech bubbles.
This is what Iโve wanted to draw for so long since I saw the outfit in the movie and maybe I will redraw it more polished (and add colours?) if I have enough timeโฆidk when tho
05.02.2026 11:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0In fact, I heard that the song was written in standard Japanese at first but Ohashi-kun suggested changing it to Kansai dialect. It DOES work (at least for me) and now Iโm a big fan of you guys. Great job.
05.02.2026 10:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A funny thing here is that the title โใญใโ is not Kansai dialect but standard Japanese, whereas the lyrics are all Kansai dialect. Obviously they chose the title by how cute it sounds since Kansai dialect version of โใญใโ is โใชใโ(Naa) and doesnโt sound cute at all lol.
05.02.2026 10:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0So, I was REALLY surprised when I first saw them sing and dance โใญใโ in the POP MALL tour videoโฆ cuz they were singing Kansai dialect lyrics, but the song, their outfits, and their dance moves were actually all cute. Impressive. Thatโs why โใญใโ is still one of my favorite songs in Naniwa.
05.02.2026 10:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1People often see Kansai ppl (especially men) as funny, wild, loud and their Kansai dialect makes that impression even stronger. Kansai dialect can be seen as cute, but itโs mostly when girls use it.
In my opinion, Kansai idols like Super Eight and WEST hardly focused on cuteness before Naniwa.
As a Kansai person, I believe what makes Naniwa Danshi so unique and lovable is their concept of mixing โKansai idolsโ with โKawaii/cutenessโ.That idea still feels fresh and actually perfect to me. Okura-kun is such a genius.
05.02.2026 09:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I love the MV and the song so much tooโฆ it's colorful and exciting, and their just-debuted freshness feels so bright. Also it is such a good introduction for recognizing their group name and each member like you said.
05.02.2026 05:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I love that part of Illuga and Hoyoverse is intentionally doing this i guess...
Sorry my reply became CRAZY LONG but Iโm so obsessed with โthe polite younger calling a certain elder in a special wayโ thing that Iโm just too happy not to talk about it, so forgive me
Then Illuga has two ways to call Flins right? As for his politeness towards Flins, JP and EN are similar. He calls Flins "kimi" as "you", and "Flins-san" when he directly uses Flins's name. "Flins-san" really fits his polite character but "kimi" is like "you suddenly call him like a close friend ?"
05.02.2026 03:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Actually I was hoping Tsukasa would call Leo "Leo-san" instead of โLeaderโ in the future since I read Scout Robin Hood(He called a kitty "Leo-san" and he said โLeo-sanโ for the first time there, right?). So, now I'm too happy about it as a leokasa liker.
05.02.2026 03:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Though "ๅคฉ็ฅฅ้ขใๅ ใใพ" is also special, he calls Eichi like that cuz Tsukasa has known him for years. But Leoโฆ?? They've known each other for such a short time but Tsukasa calls Leo in the most intimate way. The fact drives me crazy

(Asahi/Shogo/Koyoi)
For me, Illugaโs โๅ/kimiโ thing is just like Tsukasa calling Leo โLeo-sanโ, you know. Tsukasa mostly calls his senpais like โSena-senpaiโ, โNarukami-senpaiโ, but with Leo, he suddenly calls him โLeo-sanโ and every time I see him use โLeo-sanโ, I'm still like โWow, that's so intimate for Tsukasaโฆโ.
04.02.2026 12:49 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Or maybe Illuga calls most people โๅโ and it's not just for Flins? I should check it.
04.02.2026 12:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It feels like Illuga thinks flins is around his age, or they are close enough to speak to Flinz like that? If I were in the Hoyoverse Japanese localization team, considering Illugaโs character, definitely Iโd choose โใใชใโ instead of โๅโ.
04.02.2026 12:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0In Japanese, Illuga calls Flins โๅโ (kimi, it means โyouโ) and it feels special and bothers meโฆin a shipping way haha. Normally, people don't call someone older than themselves โๅโ cuz it sounds polite but too close for elders. But he does.

Iโm still thinking about their New Year voices.
#kasaleo #leokasa #enstars
It's just how Japanese phrases sound, and sometimes I think about the difference between โoshiโ and โtantouโ in idol fan culture.
01.02.2026 03:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Btw, in my opinion, โoshiโ(ๆจใ) is now widely used and can be use casually for various things, but feels a little bit weak for expressing โthe member is MY FAVORITE and I'm in charge of rooting for themโ. I think โtantouโ(ๆ ๅฝ) is still better to show the stronger attitude towards idol members.
01.02.2026 02:57 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm still in the concert afterglow and enjoy recalling the fun moments from yesterday. Also, I'm so happy that watching Ohashi-kun live at the concert truly made me realize he's definitely my oshi.
01.02.2026 02:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Speaking of โBecause I just love youโ, Ohashi-kun messed up the beginning of the song(it starts with his very important solo part, which is my favorite) cuz he remembered something funny Ryuche did right before, and they had to restart it. That was SO...OHASHI that I was kinda glad to witness it.
31.01.2026 17:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโd heard before that naniwa fans are kinda quiet during concerts, tho.
I wonder how the C&R culture can be established at their concertsโฆ
If so, I think both the idols and the fans can feel a sense of unity more in the same space and the concerts would be much more enjoyable.
The only sad thing was that the fans were too quiet even though the Naniwa members were trying hard to hype them up. Compared to the Arashi concerts I went to, it made me a bit sad and frustrated when I actually experienced it.
31.01.2026 15:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The whole concert was really good. The setlist being more focused on their five-year path rather than their latest album was a little sad for me cuz l love the album songs soo muchโฆ but still OK. From the concert title โVoyAGEโ, it was actually predictable. Anyway I enjoyed it a lot.

My seat was unbelievably good and close enough to clearly see the Naniwa members passing in front of me.
Also, I can confirm: Ohashi Kazuya is a sunshine-like super idol.
I feel you. When it comes to recent songs, I thought โNever Romantic โwas already cute enough, but โในใญในใฎโ is likeโฆ much beyond that.
I hope they keep their own cute vibes forever.

I'm excited about the dome setlist since I avoided spoilers for today. I hope my seat is close enough to see them clearly without my binoculars. Praying.
