A cold NW'ly wind and rain at times. Windy but the worst of the winds will stay away to our SE.

TUESDAY
Another disappointment. Some showery rain moving E during the morning with a few bright spells around. Going downhill eventually into the afternoon with spells of rain moving in. Turning windy for a time. Cooler and clearer overnight.

Showers moving away then returning later in the night especially out west. Mild.

A cloudy & misty morning with a few bright spells but they will not last long. Showers will get going and a few could be heavy later with hail and thunder.
Breezy for the morning but winds easing later and turning northerly.

Not a bad start out there but cloud and rain are gathering. Turning wet for most from around lunchtime onwards. I'm hoping it breaks up a little as playing golf at Sale Golf Club from 11am. ⛳

Cloudy and windy with pulses of rain, some patchy, some heavy, coming in from the west. This rain will move away to be replaced by showers later in the day. Feeling cool in the gusty SE'ly wind.

Another cloudy day for most. The cloud could be thick enough early on for some patchy light rain or drizzle. Into the afternoon, the wind will increase and this could help to develop some bright spells. Cool in the breeze.

A day of bright spells and heavy showers, possibly with hail and thunder as low pressure takes hold. Some of the showers merging to longer spells of rain at times.

A disappointing day overall with plenty of cloud about and just a few bright spells here and there especially in the north. Light winds once again, so if you do see any bright spells or sunshine it will be pleasant.

One of those days when air sinks/ warms adiabatically under the influence of high pressure, creating an inversion..rise in temp with height
Cloud trapped under the inversion giving a chilly day some low lying parts
Places in/above the inversion, eg hills, seeing warm sunshine

Misty conditions for most with some clear skies clinging on in some spots until later in the night. Not as cold as last night where locally we saw 3°C. Light winds.
