The circus is here to wear people down. It's here to confuse, cause chaos, and drive apathy. Trump wants us exhausted. A people who are beat down, exhausted, and apathetic, will let their government do anything it wants. That's Trump's plan. That's his only plan.

Just to be clear: Donald Trump just threatened force against people who spit on police officers in DC. Also, in January, Trump pardoned January 6 insurrectionists who had violently assaulted DC police officers. So it feels like this is a bit more about his power than about looking out for officers.

DC had an elected local government starting in 1871. But Congress dissolved the local government and installed three presidentially appointed commissioners. This “temporary” federal control lasted nearly 100 years. DC didn’t get an elected mayor again until 1974.

Sending the National Guard into DC because of crime -- when crime is down 25% -- is simply abuse of power to DISTRACT FROM EPSTEIN.
