This is how it’s done: coming together and thanking and supporting your opponent. At the end of the day, we must elect a Democrat in Texas to stop billionaires, Trump, and Republicans from stealing from hardworking Americans—and take back Texas and our country!

Donald Trump never stopped lying about elections.

Now he’s using those lies to justify a war he has no authority to start. It’s dangerous — and reprehensible.

I guess when they started calling it the Department of War instead of Defense they did it for a reason.

An 80 year old man just shackled my generation with even more war and debt.

The President has launched our nation and our great military into a war of choice, risking American lives and resources, ignoring American law, and endangering our allies and partners. It does nothing to help with the urgent problems here at home that Americans face every day.

The Iranian regime is a wicked dictatorship that fuels terror and instability while brutalizing its own citizens. But that reality does not absolve any president of the duty to secure Congressional authorization, state a clear strategy, and define an exit plan. The public deserves answers.

We can support the democracy movement and the people of Iran without risking the lives of our brave troops.

The US needs a regime change—and neither we, nor the world, can wait until 2029!

The next Big Lie is to taking shape right in front of us. Donald Trump will try to use this to assert illegal and unconstitutional powers over the 2026 elections.

It would be nice if statements by members of Congress on the U.S. attack on Iran started with something like:

“This attack is an unconstitutional usurpation of Congress’s war powers.”

They are being led into war by a leader who is out of control. Congress must do our constitutional duty and rein him in, before it’s too late.

And Congress should be called back into session this afternoon to immediately begin debate on legislation that would approve or deny the President's illegal war against Iran.

The American people now see Trump for who he is — a would-be dictator who does not care what Americans think or want, cares nothing about our Constitution or our laws, and sees himself as a kind of eighteenth-century king, with unlimited power to drag us into wars without the consent of the people.

Sadly, this is about the next election. He’s laying the groundwork to declare his election “emergency” to change rules and argue to courts they can’t question his national security judgment in war time. And if the Court does, he’s preparing to say that’s beyond their constitutional powers.
