Yesterday, I launched canvassers in Kenosha for WisDems’ “One Year to Win” canvass. Elections in Wisconsin are won by only a handful of votes per ward. That’s why it’s so important that we get out and talk to voters. Thank you to all the volunteers who went out and knocked doors this weekend!

On Saturday, I attend the Democratic Party of Rock County’s Fall Fling event before heading over to the Kenosha County Democratic Party’s annual dinner where I had the chance to hear from WisDems Chair Devin Remiker and Judge Everett Mitchell. Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day, Wisconsin!

Today, we celebrate the generations of Indigenous peoples and the rich cultures, languages, and traditions of Indigenous communities that have been rooted here since long before we became a state.

Today marks 100 days of striking for UAW Local 95 Unit 14 members at Mercyhealth East Clinic in Janesville. I know they would much rather be caring for their patients than holding picket signs, but I applaud their resilience and perseverance. Solidarity!

Wisconsin soybean farmers face losses because of trade war The president of the Wisconsin Soybean Association says there there are 250,000 less acres of soybeans planted in Wisconsin than there were last year.

Tariffs are hurting Wisconsin farmers, and Bryan Steil owns it. Time and again he's voted for these tariffs. Enough is enough. It's time to move on from BS.

Well he finally admitted it! Bryan Steil says "the economy is not great."

And no wonder. Steil voted to cut Medicaid, and supported tariffs on Wisconsin families, all so he could give corporations and billionaires another tax break. Not great.

A report today revealed that every VA facility in Wisconsin has severe staffing shortages. Cutting VA jobs to give Brian Steil's billionaire backers another tax break is unacceptable. I'm running to fight for Wisconsin patients and veterans, just like I've done my entire career.

It was great to stop by Kenosha and Racine Laborfest today and spend time with my fellow union members and our families. I'm running for Congress to fight for working people in Wisconsin, and that starts with the men and women of organized labor.

My family and I had a great time at the Walworth County Fair. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor Day Weekend!

Schools and houses of worship should be the safest places we go. My prayers are with the victims, the parents who are living their worst nightmare, and the community whose sense of safety has been shattered.

My heart is broken seeing the news of the shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis today. As a father about to send my two kids back to school, I can only imagine the pain these families are in.
