It would be a great set for a kids' movie; in the climactic scene, that stuffed fish would somehow be propelled across the room and impale the villain, while the plucky kids escaped down the slide

This corner of the kitchen has turquoise walls and turquoise appliances. The assortment of colourful food-related motifs on every surface (even the door) makes it look like a larger version of a child's play kitchen. Even the boxes and jars on the shelves look like the plastic food found in crèches everywhere. There is an enormous carved grapevine over the fridge, like a coat of arms. On the equally vast, turquoise fridge itself is a picture in paler turquoise of a moustached chef carrying a baguette and other bread products. His lower body is not depicted and he seems to float there, like a kindly ghost baker in a boulangerie-set version of Ratatouille
