They WILL target your email that's associated with Discord and your Steam account. They almost succeeded in locking me out of my decades old gmail account and set it for auto-deletion (they made it an unsupervised minor's account).

If you do fall for it, don't beat yourself up! But DO immediately disconnect completely from the internet - turn off wifi and unplug any ethernet cables. The malware seems to give them direct access to your computer and anything you're logged into, including your email and Steam accounts.

Just a quick reminder - if anyone DMs you on discord wanting you to try out their 5-10 minute game demo, it's definitely a scam. Do not click the link, do not download or install the "demo". This scam is still around, and lots of smart people (myself included) have been fooled by it.
