lots of cool creators on there and i think it's invite-based only for now
it's very similar to myspace and created by the same person who made jinxxy, the avatar store!

for anyone interested, i've loosened up the terms of service of some of my archived world store pages for gumroad- additionally i've added commercial licenses to a few older products, clarified terms on some free products, and lowered the price of archived worlds!

that said, i really appreciate that y'all care about my art enough to let me know and stick up for my creative integrity! i genuinely could not be more thankful for that kind of love and appreciation! ❤️ ^^

worlds and artwork i'll always be happy and hopefully always be giving people new art to check out! i try my best to let it motivate me rather than up time and stress me out ❤️ when things get super blatant i step in but sometimes you gotta weigh out the cost of dealing with stuff like this

i definitely understand the climate around reuploads can get a bit muddy ^^' a lot of my maps get distributed around a lot and i've found the best way to handle that is to focus on making more art! told myself a while ago i wouldn't let stuff like this phase me because as long as i'm making new..

i should add, since i imagine somebody would encourage me to do so, i would reach out to the reuploader in this case usually but the violation is pretty vague and to me it seemed like a bit more hassle than it would be worth

in any case i appreciate the heads up and the kind words! ^^ i don't mind the reupload as long as they're not going around deliberately claiming ownership or making profit off any of the story elements / actual parts of the map ❤️

when i looked at their account a while back i noticed they maybe don't speak english so i presume the messed up description was just a translation error (since they fully messed up the lore around that map too haha) so i don't assume they're trying to be deceitful really, at least i hope not ^^'

their use of the story elements and manipulation of the logo, if i remember, does break my TOS in some vague ways (not to mention their description is really deceptive and seems to imply they created the map themselves) but it's such an old map I've sort of chosen to just ignore it ^^'

hey! I appreciate the heads up, though I've known about this for a little while now- I believe its just a reupload of the previously available version of the map folks could buy and I don't think the TOS for the world ever specifically required credit..

thank you for the info! it was the samples i was missing--
i was finding yesterday the only way to get them to work would be to pump the intensity up to like 4-500 which seemed very wrong.. turns out it was the samples probably! xD thank you!

They are kinda cursed sometimes. In self-shadow mode they sometimes doesn't make effect very close to the mesh. Without this mode, under the hood, they actually spawn lots of point lights all over the surface. If you have a large area light you should increase samples count up to 4096 or even more.

can anyone tell me how bakery mesh lights work? they genuinely seem to work sometimes and other times, maybe most, just seem to do nothing xD
