yeah ive been at this 3-ish months but a lot of that was learning the ins and outs of ollama + langchain then dropping langchain all together because it wouldn't work for my needs

yep! for now text only, maybe image rec in the future, but the scope of this project is to have a bot that can handle multi-user conversations, have long term memory all 100% self hosted

i do have a future project in mind that will build on what I get from building this, but thats for the future :P

I reaaaallllyyyy dont wanna post about this bot im making all the time, just wanted to note, today i implemented a full custom memory system with recall functions and context checking using a postgreSQL database and python.

the "core" is just about complete, tomorrow I plan on making a backend UI 🫧

i just ran into this issue a few days before i was going to show off their design so now im back to design tweaking T.T

i hate politics, i just wanna afford to buy custom pcbs T.T
