Oh, it went on and on. The library itself was heartbreaking.

Absolutely. And schools lose more money every year.

That was my response as well.

Entropy. Vandals. Edgy kids. The slow decay of America. All of that and more.

The ravaged recesses of a library book storage room inside an abandoned high school in Flint, Michigan. The depth of the waste here is a true travesty. Also, sadly, a statement on how our country thinks of public education as a whole...

I mean, sure, but this really doesn't connect to that. While many things are the fault of those two ass-clowns, not EVERYthing is. This was just Ashland's mayor being an ass and killing a historical building for no good reason other than to just do it.

I could get lost there. And in a good way. The Rust Belt is home, and there's so much here to photograph, but NYC is a whole bigger beast altogether. A lifetime and you'd never see it all.

I'm dipping back into a few of the albums I haven't heard. I have a drive to Myrtle Beach this week, so I have plenty of time to soak a few up!

Great song by a great and incomparable band!

Inside the remains of Ashland, Ohio's Hess and Clark factory, once famous and renowned for producing a wide range of animal health and human skincare products. It was demolished in 2021, and the land there still remains vacant, despite city promises.
