When I wrote my Lyme Disease testing bill in 2019 NOW these very tests I fought so hard to be used for Lyme testing are FDA approved and should become the standard tests. Ask for them! Educate your Dr that Igenex based labs are FDA approved. You deserve quality care!

The discovery in Maine raises the possibility that rabbit ticks could be a vector for serious infections in humans.
β¦ rabbit ticks donβt feed on people, there are ticks that feed on people that also feed on rabbits. They could move this bacteria zoonotically from rabbits into people. ie, a deer tick could feed on a rabbit and pick up this infection from the rabbit tick and potentially infect a person with that.
