Now, right about at 35, I have finally adapted this story in a way that I am proud of. The Statement of Randolph Carter has been important to me for 20 years now, and at this particular moment in my life it feels very full circle.

When I was 25, I did a comic of this story after a few failed attempts at a short film. It was the first (and only) comic I sent out for reviews - which were (accurately) terrible. The only remaining copies are the one in my archive and the few that were purchased in the short while I sold them.

When I was 15 and taking my first big kid steps into horror, I was introduced to Lovecraft with The Statement of Randolph Carter, beginning my deep dive into weird horror and igniting the spark of my life long love for horror that had been lit a few years earlier.
