Good News Everyone, after much work and troubleshooting, the new Kontakt update for The Full Keg is live, it has new FX, IRs, Multioutput and an overhauled UI. If you already own it, Updated files have been emailed to you.

Very soon this will be available for everyone to play with. It also features a convolution Reverb with IRs from @vastonik.bsky.social @gojiimusic.bsky.social and @trayceinspace.bsky.social, or the option to drag and drop your own

The keg updates are finished, going to knock out some presets and it will be ready to go out, owners of the keg will get updated files sent to them as well. Very happy with all the new stuff, it’s a very fun instrument to break and make sound weird

Professionals need to know what best suits their workflow and demands, there is no one size fits all, and a hobbyist has no need to buy gear unless it improves their joy in doing the hobby, don’t be fooled into thinking you need fancy expensive utilities

In music gear, there are 2 major markets, professional and hobby, and the big difference is that for one, time is precious like fine gems, for the other, meaningless. Pro gear is about buying time, hobby gear is about losing it.

Thought I’d post an update on the Keg upgrade that I’m working on, it’s done, however there is one UI element that does not appear when the instrument is first loaded, and I can’t get it to save the IRs in presets so far, I may give up the preset IRs for now, but I want this UI working at least

Have needed to trouble shoot some small stuff in the new Keg update, that’s still on the way, but also, I learned that Cozy has been used on something really cool and it’s super hard not to just spoil it
