🌳Ensure Exmoor’s rich mosaic of habitats are enhanced and better connected
🦋Increase the populations of species identified as priorities for Exmoor

Ground nesting bird season is upon us very soon #lambingseason

🐾Keeping dogs on a lead helps protects ground nesting birds & young livestock

🐦‍⬛Disturbance can lead to eggs not hatching or young chicks being taken by predators, as their presence is alerted.

Within the Exmoor National Park Management Plan, we aim to create nature-rich landscape & ensure that wildlife is thriving with a greater abundance and diversity of species.

Exmoor Ponies | Exmoor The Exmoor Pony has been around for hundreds, if not thousands, of years and is synonymous with our wonderful National Park.

3/3 Every year ponies are gathered, checked, returned to the moor or carefully selected new homes. New foals are inspected to ensure they conform to breed standards. They are then microchipped and registered in the Exmoor Pony Studbook
