4 frame comic. A woman with a long purple scarf is waiting for the subway. a street journalist approaches her and asks :
miss! do you think
we're approaching a
moment when the public will
recognize that allowing
children to be transed
was a terrible idea?
She replies :
considering that with each
passing day, the public sees
how much of the anti-trans
movement was engineered by
the wealthy to fuel culture
war hate on the back of a
vulnerable community, I'd say
we owe massive apologies
to trans people.
just this week,
we learned that a decade ago,
epstein suggested using trans rights
as a wedge issue, and that jk
rowling's team was courting him.
we also learned that what we were
told about the closure of the tavi-
stock clinic, the only youth clinic
in the u.k. for gender-affirmative
care, was nothing but lies.
rowling's pal hilary cass
forced the clinic to close after
reports of 1000 complaints from
families. we learned this week
that it only received eight over
10 years, mostly about delays.
in the meantime, the health dep't
has been concealing trans
children suicide numbers, which
we now know rose dramatically
following the closure.
The terrible idea was always to scapegoat trans kids.
We owe it to these kids to keep fighting for truth to prevail.

A reminder that if you live in England or Wales & were born between 1970-1990 – or even before 1970 – you can help protect your community by getting the MMR vaccine free from your NHS GP now. I did last year. www.nhs.uk/vaccinations...

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Ok, let’s do this🙄
We’ll start with an explainer covering:

🏫What on Earth is going on with Oxford
👽Where the conspiracy theories have come from
And then we’ll look at the Telegraph article

Happy Black History Month 🖤✨
Libraries and books are from perfect. The Dewey Decimal System is imperfect. But we will never forget the work of Dorothy B. Porter. She decolonized the Dewey Decimal System. She helped us belong in libraries, in books.
We celebrate and thank you, Dorothy B. Porter 💜📚

Judge blocks charity’s challenge over trans people’s use of Hampstead ponds single-sex facilities
Judge says claim brought by Sex Matters should be made instead by individual who says they have faced discrimination
Also, yah boo sucks to Sex Matters and their mysterious bottomless pockets of their anonymous backers. You're weird! Nobody likes you! Go away and find a hobby that isn't picking on a marginalised community, and get some therapy while you're there. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/j...

This thread is a good breakdown of what the much-trumpeted Government AI courses actually are. Clearly no end-user testing of any of these materials, and they seem to be just more methods of getting your personal data. Don't waste your time.

The difficulty is, the carrot and stick are to encourage behaviour change. If you're already doing the behaviour, they think there's no impetus for them to reward you. But it wouyld definitely help reinforce the behaviours if they did

I shall start crossing my fingers now that it's not too much of a fight! it might be worth looking around to see if there are any papers or anything about it you could take along to support the idea? Not that you should have to 😠

I've been given a pill called Slynd (recommended by the Menopause Clinic at the John Radcliffe) - it's not a recommended use, but it has enough progesterone to keep me safe and little enough to reduce the issues from it. It definitely helped me

Apparently I have a progesterone sensitivity, plus I need quite a high dose of oestrogen for it to do anything - figuring it all out has been 'fun', but I'm getting there now. I've gone from oestrogen gel to patches and have a workaround for the progesterone

Well this looks excellent! Having traumatised myself with an element of work I was doing with records, I'm now VERY conscious of the risk to myself and others when dealing with these materials. Sadly I have a meeting clash for this, but you should all book!

I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.
