'Cairo, Egypt. 3 Years since the 2012 revolution... 2 years since the re-awakening of the ancient 'Gods'. A lion headed woman is buying a pack of Marlboro Red from a kiosk in Arabic. The kid with her interjects: 'And a jelly cola!' as he holds the sweet up to her. She buys him the sweet in arabic. In the final panel, the woman, Bastet, 'Goddess' of war and childcare, a converted muslim' and the child, Hassan, who was orphaned in the revolution and is perpetually bored, are walking through the busy streets of Cairo. Their conversation reads: 'Bastet, do you have any superpowers?' '...' 'If you did, would you show me?' 'no.' 'you never do anything fun.' The title of the short comic is at the bottom. 'Hold my hand by Calico N.M.'
