Finally trying out star of providence (I'm always late to get to things) live at twitch.tv/baricus right now! I tested things last night to see if it ran fine on Linux and got hooked XD.

I feel like I should try this now ...

They're always fun to stumble on! I have no idea when people visit mine but I hope people get the same joy from it, even if mine isn't that exciting (though maybe I should change that sometime).

I'm just becoming a silksong streamer at this rate. I just want to get through it but there keeps being more stuff to do...

Playing more silksong tonight right now! I beat act 2 last time and now I want to explore all the stuff I blew by. I still feel like there's more to explore, but we'll see!

I'm just glad it pulled me in so well; hollow knight always gave me trouble there.

It's really fun for a metroidvania to actually let me explore rather than hide a linear progression behind item based locks (I'm looking at you Metroid dread).

I have somehow ended up in act two of silk song without ever getting the hover power up (and who knows what else). I've been playing this so randomly and I love that I feel like I can go anywhere. It has really opened up and it's awesome to feel like I'm really exploring my own path.

With how much everyone is talking about silksong's difficulty I feel like I'll have to hit a brick wall any minute now. So far it's felt pretty smooth with its difficulty curve. I'm still in act one though so I have to wait and see.

It's been a long time since Hollow Knight... This will be fun

As much as I love my neovim configuration stuffed with tons of language servers and configuration to work with multiple languages, it's definitely not as convenient as just having an IDE purpose built for it. the dedicated IDEs often still have features I don't get that way too.

It's such a fun game! It's hard not to slip into it like that.

Instead, the game taunted me the whole night and didn't let me complete the actual objective. I have all the pieces but I need a run to let me hit the right ones together. At this rate I'm seeing half the post-game before finishing it!

The RNG is really frustrating, but It'll happen eventually.

Baricus - Twitch Why is the yard a room? It doesn't have a ceiling!

Going live to try to finish Blue Prince, and probably realizing I'm far further from the end than I think. I went in blind and just have a garage now, so who knows how right I am.

It was a ton of fun getting this working! There were a lot of layers to peel away to get to "send an RGB code to shine the light." There's still some mysteries I might dive into later, especially if anyone can get me BLE packet recordings during setup for an event. I can't (easily) replicate that.

I just have a demo working, but I finally reverse engineered my lightstick from the #ado #hibana tour! The write-up is on my blog here:

I still get together to play the multiplayer with my friends every once in a while. It's honestly hard to play without your hand hurting after a while, but it's still good fun to play a few rounds. I should play through the story again sometime. I never did a lot at max difficulty...
