After some more investigation into this sound I've found that Harmor has more or less the same pluck function, so maybe wasn't Sytrus after all. Utter Harmor noob though.

And speaking of that track, what would you have used for the chaotic chiptune beeps in the track's opening?

Friend and I are doing a rather faithful cover of it; things are pretty much done aside from a couple elements that I'm still figuring out as the inexperienced producer I am.

through three layered SVF filter sweeps (slightly keytracked) to try to bring out that "chomp" (it kinda worked) with some waveshaping and lots of Maximus. I think I have the right idea, but even with a sub and the secondary swell layer (also Sytrus) I feel like I'm missing some ingredient.

@yoavlandau.bsky.social Any advice you can give on the production style of tracks like your remixes of Computer Guy or Stay? I got pretty close @ Computer Guy's pluck bass with Sytrus, but the layering and FX chain is still guesswork.
