A self-indulgent chibi of Jarr's redesign which @zephyrue.bsky.social is working on. He's my first and only male Chimeraén, as well as the only disabled one so far. His Ginkgo leaf tail is made of metal, and functions as a prosthetic. He lost his tailtip in a fight to protect the queen of his clan.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

I think all artists want this, but I’d kill for a year with no need to hustle and instead can just focus on making new experimental work

Yeah, it came as a huge shock to me..

I did not expect a popular artist to trace over art of mine to make an adoptable base to sell, but here we are I guess.

When you’re trying your best and it’s never good enough.

I have this exact same issue, my poor dog has been attacked 10 times due to people not giving us space.. or not leashing their dogs.

I do pyrography art from time to time, maybe someday when I feel more confident with my skills.. I’ll offer them as a very limited commission type. I like to embellish the burned blackwork with gold leaf for specific details.
