Hm, looks like I misremembered; he and I 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 the doc and his meeting Fonda, but it looks like he never actually made it. Maybe because this other director talked him into filming 𝑃𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑠 (which is the one I worked with him on) instead.
