Obviously Ange wasn’t perfect but the players clearly loved him and he won their first trophy in years and years, sacking him made it impossible for them this season whoever they got in.

Whilst that is a factor, I don’t think anyone really want a a relegation on their CV. I think the bigger factor is the complete disconnect between fans/owners/players, constant big transfer fails, strange manager choices etc all 3 are fighting each other rather than for the club due to the board.

Exactly this. Don’t get me wrong, I like to have a moan but I take it as part and parcel of a mostly luck based game, if it was effecting my day to day life it’s best stop playing. Since joining the community it’s helped me separate it and I enjoy it more seeing people do well or suffer together.

They are bottom for form in the last 10, they have Champs League distractions and I genuinely don’t think most of their fit players are ‘too good to go down’ adding the fact half of them don’t look like they care. Crazy.
