Heads-up. I like Scott's posts, and he offers unpaid subscriptions on Substack, so I signed up. I recieve 2 email soliciations EVERY day. Some good info in them but I don't have time for all of it. So mostly just tiresome deletes. And no Unsubscribe. Scott's informative, but keep that in mind.

There is no Unsubscrube on the email, none on links he provides, none on his page. So, for all intents and purposes, it does not exist. If it does, there's a reason its hidden, and Scott must know by now. Very unfortunate.

Just a heads up. After reading some good posts here on Bluesky, I subscribed to Scott Dworkin on Substack. Well, I receive a constant stream of emails. Constant. Daily. It seems sometimes multiple times a day. It may be the most regular deleted source of email I have now. And no Unsubscribe. Beware.

Everyone should be protesting the Trump-instigated crisis in L.A. every day. People continuing to go about their daily lives and capitulate to dictatorship is as outrageous as the dictator's actions themselves. This is why we are here. Failure to take responsibility and act. Decades of just this.

During the McCarthy Era, alleged communists and those with suspected communist ties faced a range of actions, including loss of employment, career damage, and even imprisonment. Suspicions were often based on questionable evidence, and the level of threat was frequently exaggerated.

When the poem says they'll come for you & no one is left to save you, when they come for all remaining liberals' rights, identities as good people & patriots, voice, agency, income/wealth, power, freedom...eventually you could be tortured, forced to unjustly admit guilt, killed. Don't kid yourself.
