ANSJI's mandate is to address issues of systemic racism in the justice system that negatively impact African Nova Scotians while ensuring fair, legal, and constitutional treatment of all African Nova Scotian community members.
ANSJI would like to particularly congratulate African Nova Scotian MLAs Twaila Grosse and Suzy Hansen, as well as Adegoke Fadare (pronounced βAh-da-go-key Fah-dar-ehβ) who is now the ninth person of African descent elected to the Nova Scotia Legislature.
