So, speaking from firsthand military experience. Yes, some absolutely would, but there’s also a lot that wouldn’t. I’ve spoken to many of my coworkers about this potential, and we are all of the same mind. Every branch, base, and unit is full of different people, with different beliefs.

I’m just as in the dark as everyone else. As much as I’d rather not leave the country at a time like this, once my contract is up I’m moving to the UK to marry my fiancé. Right now, ensuring I get through this for him is my biggest priority. For sure, keep your loved ones close, and stick together

I mean, at this point activism, voting, etc. are all good choices. But maybe being prepared catastrophe, this all has the potential to get way worse before it gets better. Not that I’m encouraging violence, but preparing to defend from it might be wise should this not get nipped in the bud quick 1/2

I spend most of my day around explosives, putting my life on the line for a country whose leader is actively vying for my destruction. I’ve never been more disillusioned, disappointed, and disgusted in my life. What the hell have I sacrificed so much of my life and wellbeing for?

I assure you, the force has no shortage of salty enlisted who spend their career pissed off and hating the government. Some would comply sure, but if he ever tried to turn us on the American people the military would more than likely splinter before shooting our friends, families, and neighbors

As someone actively serving, there’s quite a bit of discourse within the ranks. A lot of the people work with are just as angry, while others just go with the flow. It’s hard to say for sure, if I had to guess, we’d splinter entirely before completely complying if it got bad enough
