I literally can't afford to give them free products. I have bills to pay. I am disabled. Also exposure does not pay bills. They can pay me AND credit me. But once I mentioned they'd have to pay me. They ghosted me. So they clearly were just looking to use me.

It felt like they just wanted to use me for free products. By mentioning that they're queer and etc. Like I'm queer too. I deserve to be paid. I have bills to pay. It's so insulting that such a big company refuses to pay for others work and try to get free stuff.

A marketing employee from Vintage, an imprint of Penguin Random House messaged me asking for free pins in exchange for "exposure". On behalf of the author TJ Alexander for their book A LADY FOR ALL SEASONS. It was very disrespectful, exposure doesn't pay bills.

Even just 5$ donations makes a huge difference. So don't ever feel like your donations are too small or won't make a difference in someone's life. I can't remember every person that's helped me. But I appreciate it all. It helped me be the person I am today!
