President Trump never had any evidence the 2020 election was rigged. Trump has no evidence that the July jobs report was faked.

04.08.2025 13:50 β π 239 π 65 π¬ 18 π 14Just 73,000 jobs added in July, while May and June were revised down. It's the weakest 3-month period of job growth since COVID. If you throw out 2020, it's the weakest 3-month period since 2010 and the aftermath of the Great Recession.

House GOP leaders have canceled votes on Thursday. They are sending the House home until September 2 - avoiding any votes before Labor Day on releasing the Epstein files. Here is your updated House calendar:

The U.S. House has 8 days of legislative business scheduled between now and Labor Day.
GOP voters have made it clear that they support mass deportations of illegal immigrations. But President Trump keeps talking about how to get around that - by going easy on farms, hotels, and restaurants which often use immigrant labor. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

04.07.2025 00:13 β π 18 π 8 π¬ 9 π 3The old line about not watching sausage or legislation get made was certainly on display this week in Congress. There were provisions that no one wanted to take responsibility for and items that made you shake your head. More in my column for the AJC.

The House has passed the giant GOP tax and budget bill - next stop is the White House.
The final vote was 218-214.
2 GOP lawmakers voted 'No' - Massie KY and Fitzpatrick PA.
No Dems voted for the bill.
Found a puzzling figure in the June jobs report. While 147,000 jobs were added - half of those were government jobs. Private sector jobs grew by 74k last month. Federal jobs were down 7k, but state and local jobs were up 80k in June.

The Senate seems to be at the point where anything is possible over the next few days on a giant GOP tax and budget bill. Success, failure, mini rebellion, delay, a furious rewrite of key provisions - all options remain available for Republicans.
26.06.2025 21:50 β π 21 π 2 π¬ 2 π 1Back in 2021, it was the Democrats who didn't like the Senate Parliamentarian, after she ruled against them on various immigration plans and refused to allow a minimum wage hike in a reconciliation bill
26.06.2025 16:10 β π 11 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Brutal setbacks today for Senate Republicans on their Medicaid plans as the Parliamentarian has found many of the GOP savings plans run afoul of the Byrd Rule, and must be stripped from the Big Beautiful Bill. Makes it even more difficult to lash this bill together and get it done by next week.
