i KNOW this is yoshi's story but yoshi's story didnt EXIST on a mobile console ever to my knowledge and my jokes have to be REALISTIC ALWAYS,

this has the energy of, like. a bunch of guys in a room together cracking jokes at each other are approached by a kid with their copy of yoshi's island on GBA, they play a level of it and are like "man, this slaps, what if yoshi was arrested for dui"

id be so interested in knowing what the fuck the marketing teams were doing with stuff like this

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

-do is keep fighting, keep creating, keep treasuring the things that we enjoy so much about what we play... and for those that feel so compelled to cry out (i sure do!)- look for opportunities to do something about it that might help, even the tiniest bit.

-places, towards fans, towards artists, towards the people who want to keep experiencing and making these wonderful things together... rather than the things that might be causing any of the problems they have in the first place.

it's depressing, and frustrating, and awful- but imo, all we can-

-things the people involved in making genuinely care *so* much about... but that they just don't have the time, don't have the budget, don't have the resources to make as beautiful as they want them to be. and there's some justified anger in that, yknow? but it's being aimed in the wrong-

-a fun experience, to tell a story, to create something that might give anyone something, despite the very things that people are so vocally against (rushed deadlines, small budgets, make more money disease). for pokemon specifically, the past few games have felt so much like-

-that they see that something affected the quality of a product and leave it at "it sucks! it's bad! there's better out there, why not play that instead?"

...and they forget the point of it all. games arent just product, they're art. there's teams of people trying their best to make-

yeah. it's very easy to get sucked into the dichotomy of things, good vs bad and all that, and just forget why you even care in the first place. i personally agree with a *lot* of the issues brought up around modern gaming- but i think where a lot of people fail in their critisism is-
