I find it perplexing to understand the mindset of individuals who, as though compelled, impose themselves rather aggressively onto others instead of cultivating enjoyment within their own community. It goes beyond a mere lack of discipline or respect to remain within their own area of interest.

That's an interesting take. The way I see it is that happy endings leave me with unsatisfied curiosity - wanting to know more about what happens to the characters as their lives go on. Whereas tragic endings leave me with a lasting emotional impact - a poignant and bittersweet experience.
