Yes. It's so ridiculous.

These guys are not seeking a world; they are desperately wishing they lived in a different one where they can maintain a hierarchical position over women.

This guy is “looking for a woman,” not “seeking a world.” If you want to see people “seeking a world,” then go look at the Peace Corps, and the NGO’s, and the people teaching in rural impoverished areas, and the social workers, and the human rights attorneys.

“I’m seeking a world where my worth is cherished authentically” = The language “I’m seeking a world” is outsized in the context of what he’s talking about.

Sooooo many opportunities for translation in here (using words like "exploitation" and "entitlement" and "opportunism"), but even the more subtle ones are telling. For example:
