Spring is happening! The primroses are planted! Everything feels fresh! 🥺

A couple of days ago I heard my first wren of the year! Now I'm lying here just before sunrise, listening to the first tentative dawn chorus. The birds are back.

It was an awful winter really, with a few personal tragedies. I'm happy spring is coming but sad for those who aren't here to see it. 🧡

The brave version of me is cruising around in a vespa 😅 but it's hard to persuade the rational part of my brain that it's a good idea, especially considering the size of some cars* on the road.

*effectively miniature tanks 😅

That makes sense 😅 are you in the States? I've seen some things saying the max speed here (UK) is 15mph and you have to do some paperwork to get a throttle version as opposed to a solely pedal-powered one 😭

I'm considering getting one of those ones too 😅😅

That's so good! I'm considering it for similar reasons 😅 do you find it an easier ride than a normal bike, or is it difficult to compare?
