Green, narrating: When I was little, life was bad. I thought it would be bad forever. Next, adult Green is floating through an empty void, not attached to anything. Green, continuing to narrate: But that passed, and I learned that nothing is forever. Everything is only temporary. Blue, appearing out of nowhere, grabs Green by the tail, gently holding on to stop him from drifting away. Green, still narrating: And then you were there. For good. The foxes settle down to play some kind of a board game. It's unclear which one of them is winning. Green, narrating: You make me want to believe in "forever".

Green: The whole point of the holidays is getting to start the new year on a clean slate. Blue listens as Green pauses to continue his explanation. Green: By the end of the month you're relieved to get back to routine and healthier habits. Looking at the aura of sparkles that is trailing behind Green, Blue raises an eyebrow in puzzlement. Blue: Are you shedding glitter? Green turns to look at the sparkles that trail behind him. Green: No, I'm sweating it out.

Green: You know what's the best part of the holidays? Blue: What is it? Green: All our problems are next year's problems. All can wait until January. While Blue's expression remains peaceful, Green opens his eyes in realisation to his words. Blue: Except for that thing in the sink. Both of the foxes turn to look at something coming in from outside of the comic panel, with slimy tentacle-like tendrils reaching towards them. Green: Oh right. We should probably do something about that.
