I don’t think I’ve ever tried to solve a problem, but I have had dreams within dreams.

It was great to hear Flora be the interviewee. I wondered about the first 2 callers. The 1st said scientists should be direct. 2nd said scientists should express uncertainties. (My interpretation) It’s like we can’t win.

It was an answer to the question, “What brought them here?”

I’m still trying to figure out who is graduating from high school and waiting a year to work. The usual thing is to graduate and then get a job or go to school. Unless he’s talking about rich kids who spend a year traveling and making crudité trays for fun.

“Work fast and break things” doesn’t work when processes were put place by statute, regulation, or longstanding policy and people (the biomedical community, staff) affected by these changes can’t just turn on a dime.
